West Hollywood bar No More Heroes is alive and well, opening up a week ago in the former Now Boarding space along Santa Monica Boulevard. Expect low lighting, colorful drinks, and musical influences in the artwork that adorns the walls.

No More Heroes comes from Todd Walker and partner Cole Apodaca, longtime bar guys who’ve long wanted to open a standalone space that focused on good, casual vibes for the surrounding West Hollywood neighborhood. Eschewing big talk and spendy cocktails, No More Heroes instead focuses on being a key “third place” for commuters and locals alike. That means it’s great spot to meet up, enjoy happy hour, or watch sports, before turning into a slightly more boisterous place during weekends. Soon it’ll offer a light complement of food to go along with the drinks, mostly casual Italian sub sandwiches and other bar snacks. The drinks menu is below.

As for hours, expect No More Heroes to run nightly from 7 p.m. until late, with service until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. The bar certainly isn’t without its competition during those hours, as Employees Only just opened down the street and the new Barbette isn’t far away either.
