The Ludo-backed Parisian hits keep coming, with late Friday news about a pop-up at Trois Familia in Silver Lake next week. The evening dinners will be hosted by the team from Mokonuts out of Paris, undoubtedly one of the city’s most essential current restaurants.

Mokonuts is a collaboration between Franco-Lebanese chef Omar Koreitem and partner Moko Hirayama. The latter makes a variety of daily breads, cookies, and other baked goods for both the cafe and for takeaway, while Koreitem runs the cafe menu with a variety of Middle Eastern, French, and Japanese influences. The pair is now taking that same ethos to Los Angeles on May 10 and 11 for two nights of pop-ups just off Sunset Boulevard.

There will be two evening seatings each night, one at 6 p.m. and one at 8:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday only. Expect dishes like roasted asparagus with shaved bottarga, veal tartare with fiore sardo, and a strawberry tart for dessert. Tickets are $50, and reservations go live on Resy tomorrow.
