It’s been a wild ride for Burritos La Palma lately. The handmade tortilla house has spent time expanding from its El Monte original location into a food truck, Orange County restaurant space, and beyond — and now La Palma just landed on Fairfax.
Burritos La Palma has been quietly occupying some space inside Plan Check on Fairfax as of last Friday. That means that Plan Check has actually split up the space slightly, with a standalone Mexican food menu on one side and the usual Plan Check offerings of burgers and fried chicken sandwiches on the other. Both sides will also still serve drinks.
The Burritos La Palma menu is slightly more robust than usual, offering more than just the usual slew of flour tortilla-wrapped burritos. There’s also room for tacos, starters like queso or chips and guacamole, and sides like rice and beans. They are margarita pitchers for $49, with most other cocktails (tequila mules, palomas, etc.) hovering around $14. The opening menu is below.
Hours for the new Burritos La Palma project on Fairfax run 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, with an extension to 10 p.m. during the week and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.
