Spoonfed Crafts Comfort Food Classics in Hollywood

Burgers, salads, flatbreads, and one seriously gorgeous space

Take a look around inside Spoonfed, the casual new all-day restaurant poised to make big noise inside Hollywood’s sprawling Media District. The newcomer officially opens for business on Tuesday, June 19.

Spoonfed is the work of Sean Loeffel, a longtime front of house lead at various places across the city, most notably Alcove in Los Feliz. This is his first personal venture, working the same counter service model but combining it with comfortable seating, lots of soft natural light, and a casual menu of easygoing favorites. The restaurant has room for 200 seats in total, including a gorgeously lush patio area. James Beard award-winning designer Tom Nahabedian helped to craft the look of the place.

On the food front, expect everyday eats from chef Carlos Monterroso, formerly of Doheny Room. There are burgers, salads, small pizzas, and sandwiches on the daytime and dinner menus, plus desserts and drinks. Breakfast is a blend of classics like pancakes, healthy-ish parfaits, breakfast tacos, and more. The opening menus are below.

Spoonfed officially opens to the world on Tuesday, June 19. Expect daily hours from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
