The Eggslut co-founder spends his time cruising the streets of L.A., talking to everyone from Roy Choi (outside of Tommy’s, of course) to the guys who keep The Apple Pan running after all these years. Japan House Los Angeles is hosting a day of bento-making in Hollywood. The Saturday, June 16 workshop lasts three hours and runs $45 a head, or $70 with a take-home bento box to keep.
Chef Tim Hollingsworth is hosting a barbecue class on Sunday with the help of Traeger Grills. The demo will cover things like tri-tip and pulled pork, and will feature drinks from Golden Road and Whistle Pig whiskey. Tickets are $150 per person.
