The group behind Culver City hit Lodge Bread Company is moving into Pico-Robertson next, offering up a Kosher hummus-focused restaurant called Hasiba. Reached for timing, Eater was able to confirm that the first day of opening will be this Friday, June 22.

Much like Lodge Bread, expect Hasiba to be a casual spot with a focus on quality. The 1,000 square foot space will seat a few dozen people across communal seats only, with room for a tiny patio up front and a hearth to bake off pita to order. In fact, their Instagram feed is already clogged with blistery shots of puffy pita bread and creamy-looking, hummus, though the Lodge team themselves have yet to comment publicly on the opening outside of a Craigslist post looking for kitchen help.

The Lodge team isn’t content to just expand into the hummus world in the coming months. They’ve also been hard at work crafting a second Lodge location up in Woodland Hills, offering the same breads and pizzas that have made the Culver City location so beloved. It’s unclear what the opening date for that new expansion will be, but expect something before the end of the year to be sure.
