Surprise, surprise. South Los Angeles street food king Keith Garrett has just signed on to bring his unique LA menu to the Arts District, partnering up with Villain’s Tavern to create an official first brick and mortar restaurant.
Garrett has garnered a massive amount of attention for All Flavor No Grease, the street food stand in Watts that he successfully parlayed into two food trucks, celebrity stop-ins, and some 131,000 Instagram followers. Now he’s making his next move in Downtown, announcing the new All Flavor No Grease Kitchen as a partnership with the longstanding Villain’s Tavern. They’ll supply the space and the cocktails, Garrett and his team will control the menu and get to put their own AFNG name on the place. The announcement reads in part:
This a restaurant-style setting where you will be able to come in, sit down, and place an order for drinks and food. Our bar and beverages will be powered by Villain’s Tavern who has a phenomenal cocktail menu with amazing bartenders.
We will be serving chicken, steak, and shrimp tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Please bear with us as this is a soft opening and are expecting some kinks to be worked out as we go. We are so excited to embark on this project with all of you!
The first night of service at All Flavor No Grease Kitchen in the Arts District is tomorrow. Expect evening hours only to start, from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
