Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ cast member Lisa Vanderpump, and partners Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz from reality restaurant show Vanderpump Rules look ready to open the long-awaited Tom Tom bar. Vanderpump hosted a party at the space on Wednesday night. And while information is scarce on the opening, Page Six suggests opening day is three weeks away.
Tom Tom is a collaboration between Vanderpump, Sandoval, and Schwartz, who are Vanderpump Rules cast members and bartenders. The new bar is on a central stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard between San Vicente and Robertson, only doors away from Vanderpump’s Pump Restaurant & Lounge, and around the corner from her longstanding restaurant Sur. Vanderpump also owns Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills.
According to The Daily Mail, Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd offered the two Toms an opportunity to open the bar at the end of Vanderpump Rules’s fifth season. Tom Tom is in a bustling part of West Hollywood and around the corner from The Abbey, Mother Lode, Rage, and Beaches WeHo. It’s also next to the forthcoming WeHo location for Bottega Louie.
Sandoval, and Schwartz both invested $50,000 for a five percent stake in the bar, which took over one year to complete. Miami-based industrial designer and creative director Nick Alain designed the interior.
