June was an intimidating month for San Fernando Valley donut shops, as thieves targeted Choony’s Donuts in Sylmar, Foster’s Donuts and Earl’s Donuts in Chatsworth, and Royal Donuts in Woodland Hills. The Los Angeles Police Department believe the two robbery suspects are now in custody.

KTLA uncovered surveillance video from a June 13 robbery caught on surveillance video, where two masked men allegedly entered an unidentified donut shop, pointed a gun at at employees and customers, then removed cash from the register. LAPD investigators discovered two additional donut shops robbed at gunpoint on the same date.

LAPD confirmed the June 21 arrest of Antonio Sabrian of Sun Valley, and an unnamed juvenile. Investigators claim Sabrian and his young accomplice are responsible for four robberies. LAPD officer Mike Lopez stated both were charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, and investigators were not pursing any new suspects.
