Cracker Barrel remains one of America’s most beloved national chains, a Southern-fried sit down dining experience with roots in places like Tennessee and Mississippi. The company has slowly been expanding west throughout the years though, and now will land a new location in Rialto, California.

This new Southern California location is the second in San Bernardino County for Cracker Barrel, following the company’s first big foray into the region last year in Victorville. That’s where the company planted it big corporate flagship for all of California, located right off the freeway en route to Las Vegas. The Victorville location was immediately mobbed with hours-long lines.

Hopefully the jump to Rialto will help to stem some of that traffic, as plenty of Angelenos and Orange County natives had been making the easterly trek for biscuits and gravy. This new location once again lands in an easily-accessible location just off the 210 freeway, and comes with some 10,000 square feet of dining and retail room, with seats for nearly 200 people at a time.

Groundbreaking for the new location is taking place in just a few days, with an opening slated for April of 2019. Cracker Barrel has also recently opened a location in the greater Sacramento area, and is under construction for a Central Coast location in Santa Maria.
