Riverside Food Lab is the Inland Empire’s first major food hall, and it opens Saturday. The Lab has a wide-ranging group of 14 tenants, but only four will be ready for business tomorrow. With 10 restaurants, a juice joint, cafe, brewery, and cocktail bar right next to the Fox Performing Arts Theater, the Lab seems ready to bring a unique mix to the neighborhood.

The property’s early days came with a different vision. When construction finished in 2013, the city originally planned to entice a large upscale chain restaurant. But the Pomona-based developer Arteco Partners put together a proposal for a food hall, then secured a 55-year-lease from the city, and began the build-out on 14,000 square feet while selecting the tenants.

BeerFarm, Bolcupop, Dhat Creole Grill, and Fufu’s Grill are ready for service on September 1, and Monty’s Good Burger announced a September 8 opening. With that, here are all tenants at the Riverside Food Hall.

Coffee

Augie’s Coffee Roasters is a Redlands-based chain, and well-known in the Inland Empire.

Drinks

BeerFarm is a brewers paradise with twenty beers on tap.

The cold-presed specialist Freelyraw will serve cold press juices.

Wilson’s is a cocktail bar and will serve wines by the glass.

Restaurants

After launching her own food truck and delivery business Bolcupop, owner Sallimar Lorenzana now has her first restaurant at Riverside Food Lab with bowls, popsicles, and aguas frescas.

Bricks & Birch’s wood-fired pizzas and pastry are on the menu.

The new Dhat Creole Grill has a popular sister restaurant in Redlands, Dhat Island. But this time, the owners have Creole cuisine from the Caribbean.

Rick and Nicole Garcia started the popular Dia de los Puercos food truck, and their first restaurant is at Riverside Food Lab.

The second location for Fufu’s Grill will showcase Lebanese food.

Masala Mischief is a family-run Bengali restaurant.

Monty’s Good Burger is having a good summer, as the popular festival vegan burger stand opened in Koreatown this month, and will launch its latest installment at Riverside Food Lab.

As the third food hall location for Pig Pen Delicacy, the pork-obsessed menu features burgers and sides that include candied bacon, pork belly fries, and pork nachos.

Dwayne Ciang owns two poke restaurants in Riverside County, and combined poke, bowls, and ramen to the menu at Soho Ramen.

Indulge at Sweet Combforts with Belgian waffle pops on a stick, shakes, or ice cream.

When open, hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
