Harriet’s Soaks Up Big LA Views From Lofty Sunset Strip Rooftop

Harriet’s opens tonight at 1 Hotel on Sunset

West Hollywood’s next big show-stopper opens tonight along the Sunset Strip. This is Harriet’s, the spacious rooftop lounge from the H.Wood Group that sits atop the new 1 Hotel for all to see.

Harriet’s is a mellow kind of hang out space for H.Wood’s (Nice Guy, Petite Taqueria, etc.) existing nightlife and restaurant clientele, the kind who favor light bites and ambiance. Here the decorations come mostly from the city itself, as the evening skyline drapes the open-air patio in several directions at once. Plant life, string lights, and decorative umbrellas touch off the rest of the Built, Inc. look outside, while just indoors the atmosphere changes to become a dim, inviting bar. There are stuffed leather bar wrapping the wooden bar, plus hints of neon and even more glossy enclosed views.

On the food front, in-house company chef Lord Maynard Llera and chef de cuisine Geter Atienza have a few snacks to go along with the cocktail side of things, which is being overseen by Justin Campbell. There’s charcuterie and crudité to snack on, plus salmon flatbreads and other bites best enjoyed by hand. The opening menu of food and drink is below. Harriet’s opens tonight, keeping hours from 5 p.m. until late.

Harriet’s. 8490 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA.
