On the Mon Li

Matthew Biancaniello is almost ready to reveal Mon Li, his highly anticipated upcoming twelve-course destination in Malibu. The cocktail bar slash restaurant sits within listening distance to the shoreline and will offer some of the most inventive drinks available anywhere in Los Angeles (and, likely, all of America) for a set $150 price tag. Ticketed reservations go live on Tock today, with an opening slated for October 11.

Javi Ramos on the move

Former Sqirl chef Javier Ramos has a new gig as opening chef of the upcoming project The Draycott in the Caruso Pacific Palisades development. The restaurant is still tracking for a fall arrival.

The Pudding Truck is about to shut down, some half-a-decade after starting up with its recognizable dual-brown truck. The simple sweets rig is throwing a final party at Boomtown Brewery in Downtown tomorrow to celebrate.

Sake series
