Free Bay Cities

Heads up, Angelenos. Bay Cities is partnering with DoorDash to give away a ton of Godmother sandwiches this week. Starting today and running through Sunday, the delivery company (which has had a rough go of it in the media as of late) will send out a small version of the Santa Monica restaurant and market’s famous sandwich to anyone who spends a $1 on anything else at Bay Cities. There’s a limit of 350 a day though, so best to order fast, and be sure to use the promo code “BayDays”.

Measles surfaces again

Another measles scare has come to Los Angeles. This time the potential worry is for anyone who spent time at Erewhon on Wilshire in Santa Monica on October 7, at AR Cucina on October 5, or at the ArcLight in Culver City on October 5, says the LA Times.

Goodbye to a good guy

Lasa chef de cuisine and 2018 Eater Young Guns winner Nico de Leon is leaving Los Angeles soon, with plans to head back up to the Bay Area to continue working.

‘Tis the season

Porto’s is back with their limited-time Thanksgiving-themed potato balls. That means lots of turkey and gravy for anyone willing to brave those lines.
