Iconic South LA Creole restaurant Harold & Belle’s is celebrating 50 years in the game this year, and it just so happens that today is their actual opening anniversary. To sweeten the season even further, the restaurant is doing a full 50% off of all dine-in food tonight only (excluding alcohol and the happy hour menu). No reservations, just stop by and enjoy.

MatchaBar Silver Lake has closed after two-and-a-half years, as confirmed by reps for the New York City company.

Woodland Hills Spanish specialist Gasolina Cafe is moving down the street into a larger space. The new opening party is happening this Saturday at 21150 Ventura Boulevard.

Genwa Korean BBQ is officially open in Downtown. The restaurant sits at the bottom of the 100 Grand by Windsor building at Olympic and Grand.

Musician Questlove is sitting down to a potluck dinner with Jessica Koslow of Sqirl and Onda this Friday at the Million Dollar Theater. The Now Serving-produced event kicks off at 8 p.m., and tickets are $45.

A popular San Diego and Orange County brunch spot called Breakfast Republic is set to open next spring at 7141 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, reports TimeOut.
