They’re opening in Koreatown next month, too

It’s already been a big year for Dave’s Hot Chicken, the Nashville-style tender and fries specialist that started from an East Hollywood parking lot. The group opened its second location in North Hollywood while inking a deal for larger expansion, and now two new locations are right on the horizon.

First up is Koreatown, which should be open by December at 3462 Wilshire Boulevard. It’s a smaller space than the sprawling Valley location off Lankershim, but should keep late night hours and play to the weekend crowds in the neighborhood.

More prominently, Dave’s Hot Chicken is also looking to plant a flag right on Fairfax, just steps from the Supreme store, Animal, Canter’s, and everything else on that busy stretch. Ownership tells Eater that the 465 N. Fairfax address will be the group’s flagship location, anchoring the brand as it continues to grow outwards from Los Angeles to other parts of Southern California.

Expect the Fairfax location to be up and running by February; signage is already up out front. A San Diego location is also in the works for 2020.
