The world of food and fashion have long intersected in Los Angeles, from old school Canter’s shirts to an entire food festival premised on the fact that Fairfax streetwear kids also really like to eat well. That said, this new Madhappy x Apple Pan collab, which lands today, may be the new cream of the crop.
Madhappy, the local clothing company that (as its name implies) likes to focus on positivity and mental health, has managed to partner up with the very, very old school West LA burger and pie staple Apple Pan for a new drop of sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatpants, and hats. Check out some of the looks below.

The new collaboration is killer for a number of reasons, not least of which is LA’s current love for nostalgic food and throwback looks. More recently Apple Pan was purchased by the local Azoff family as a way to preserve the culture of the counter-service restaurant, which dates to 1947, amidst a broad sweep of changes (including some new Google offices) coming to that stretch of Pico Boulevard. The Azoffs also bought iconic deli Nate N’ Al in January of this year.
So far there have been few, if any, changes to the day to day at Apple Pan, which is precisely why, Madhappy co-founder Noah Raf says, the two companies decided to collaborate. “We can’t think of a place that embodies self-integrity more than the Apple Pan,” Madhappy says in a statement.
