It’s time for a whole new Hudson. The longstanding West Hollywood drinking and dining option is set to reopen on Thursday under the guidance of Otium lead Tim Hollingsworth — he of The Final Table fame — as well as chef de cuisine Michael Kahikina, operator Ricky McIntosh, and bar director Chris Amirault. And the overhaul comes just in time for the place’s ten year anniversary.

The Hudson has been down for the count for the past few months as it worked to upgrade the dining room and completely redo the kitchen. In that time ownership (Dilip Bhavnani and Brandon Hawkins) managed to snag Hollingsworth to take over the kitchen and revamp the menu. Expect a lot of comfort classics, from salads to honey-glazed lamb ribs.

The redecorating also allowed the Hudson team to lean into the existing cozy California look, keeping the leather banquettes, mood lighting, and wood detail work.

Meanwhile, all of West Hollywood continues to change at a rapid pace. There are new plans for an expansive cannabis cafe sometime soon, while upstart takeaway spot Dumpling Monster is already making waves over on Santa Monica Boulevard. As for the Hudson, the plan for now is to reopen on Thursday for dinner and drinks, beginning at 4 p.m.
