On May 29, Los Angeles County restaurants were given the go-ahead to reopen in-house dining. It’s been 11 weeks since the state required all dining rooms to close on March 17, and resulted in restaurants making the pivot to takeout/delivery models, and ad hoc grocers. These dining area reopenings were delayed slightly due to police violence protests and city-wide curfews a few weeks back. At long last, locals can sit-down for food service while restaurants abide by the health department’s requirements which include masks, sanitizing dining rooms, and a slew of safety precautions.

Below is a list of Highland Park restaurants with newly open dining areas, which include interior space or outdoor ones. As most have learned since the beginning of the pandemic, things can change quickly. Connect with the restaurant to see if reservations are required. And, as mandated by county officials, please continue to wear a mask upon entering restaurants and moving about the space.

These Highland Park restaurants currently have in-house dining available at a reduced 60 percent capacity:

Antigua Bread

Cafe Birdie

El Pescador

Greyhound Bar & Grill

Highland Park Bowl

Hinterhof

Monte 52 (outdoor tables only)

Rosty
