State officials allowed California restaurants to reopen on May 29, but only at 60 percent capacity, with a slew of safety precautions to follow. It’s a welcome change for restaurants, the shift towards a takeout and delivery-only model was devastating after the state required that dining rooms temporarily close in mid-March.
Below are South LA restaurants with open — or scheduled to reopen — dining rooms at a reduced capacity. As most have learned since the beginning of the pandemic, things can change quickly. Connect with the restaurant to see if reservations are required. And, as mandated by county officials, please continue to wear a mask upon entering restaurants and moving about the space.
Pann’s - reopens on June 25, with dining in the patio, garden, and parking lot
