Two prominent Los Angeles restaurants are opening later this year out in Las Vegas, adding to an existing collection of LA eateries there that include everything from Spago and Border Grill to the Factory Kitchen and Majordomo.

The first is Night + Market, the lauded Thai restaurant group from chef Kris Yenbamroong. First launched as a pop-up of sorts out of his parents’ Thai restaurant in West Hollywood, Yenbamroong quickly gained national acclaim and went on to open a second outlet in Silver Lake and then a third in Venice. Partner Sarah Yenbamroong runs the mostly natural wine list, and both have been given accolades by the likes of the James Beard Foundation.

Per Eater Las Vegas, an offshoot of West Third Street’s Kassi Club will also open at the upcoming Virgin Hotel, which takes over for the former Hard Rock, though likely in a slightly different format. This one will be called Kassi Beach Club and will take restaurateur Nick Mathers’ pared-back European approach from places like Kassi Club LA and Elephante in Santa Monica to the water’s edge as a poolside restaurant.

Both restaurants are expected to open in November, as Las Vegas (and Nevada as a whole) navigates a reopening under the current coronavirus protocols. The Park MGM property, home to places like the NoMad and Roy Choi’s Best Friend, could reopen by October.
