East coast transplants, listen up. As of yesterday, there is a Dunkin' Donuts within driving distance of Los Angeles, just north of San Diego. It is the only Dunkin' Donuts in the state, and it's on an operating military base. Don't have a uniform but craving that coffee and filled-donut combination? Patch outlines the requirements to get onto the base for civilians: Bring a valid driver license, current vehicle registration and proof of current liability insurance and you're in. On the other hand, if you've been convicted of a felony in the past 10 years, are in the country illegally, have an outstanding criminal warrant, or were dishonorably discharged from the military, they won't let you near the famous fried sugar cakes. Good luck.
