It's that time of year again, when friends and family are back in town and the holiday spirit is in full gear. With copious amounts of shopping and holiday parties, planning Christmas Eve dinner may have taken a back seat. If so, check out these LA restaurants that are open on Christmas Eve with special prix-fix and regular menus. It will appease even the pickiest family members, leaving you more time to spend with loved ones. As of Monday morning, Eater has verified that these spots all have tables left for December 24.

For a Christmas Eve dinner different from all the rest, check out Culver City's Sambar. You’ll celebrate with a modern Indian inspired menu themed "Chinese and a Bollywood Movie." Eat plenty of Tandoori duck, mushroom buns, cauliflower fritters and shrimp hakka noodles, while watching a Bollywood movie (with no sound) adding to the cultural holiday mood. Sambar will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

A variety of seafood dishes include a trio of marinated halibut, shrimp, and tuna tartar and wild branzino. The menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
