Los Angeles dining stalwarts Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne are opening up A.O.C. for a $25 lunch-only dineL.A. deal, which features either a charcuterie plate, little gem salad or Spanish fried chicken to start, and an array of simple California-forward main plates to follow. Desserts like butterscotch pot de creme are only $6 more.
Perhaps the most expansive menu for dineL.A., Abigaile is basically giving away bites of pao de queijo, or slightly spicy cheese puffs, to start, and finishes with a housemade Snickers bar. In between is the usual three-course menu, which might include lamb belly poutine, fried jidori chicken, prim flat iron steak or even a duck confit french dip.

Cafe Del Rey
Lunch is the way to go for Cafe del Rey during dineL.A.. The marina location is perfect for daytime dining, and the $25 three-course options don’t skimp on the protein like some other veg-heavy menus elsewhere. A truffle pizza starts the party, steak sandwiches or salmon with yellow beans might follow and desserts include a simple chocolate caramel brownie or cherry lemonade semifredo.
Coast at Shutters On The Beach
Offering a reduced price dineL.A. dinner option, Coast’s $35 three-course meal includes a wide array of options from beginning (fish tacos, meatball sliders, mushroom flatbread) to middle (ahi tuna burger, linguini vongole, roasted half-chicken) to the end (peach trifle, classic butterscotch pudding).
Tom Colicchio’s Craft Century City features a sleek interior, celebrity name and one of the heartiest entree lists available at dinner for the $45 three-course price tag. Choose from an Ora King salmon, jidori chicken, beef short rib gemelli or a handful of other great plates.

A $45 dinner-only entrant, West Hollywood’s Gordon Ramsay restaurant is offering a surprisingly filling menu, with things like charred Spanish octopus or a quail egg risotto on the first course offerings list, with blackened snapper or a a plus-sized roasted beef wellington available for a modest upcharge.
Lazy Ox Canteen
Downtown’s Lazy Ox is one of this year’s true dineL.A. steals. Always a great option for lunch, the unheard-of $15 prix fixe menu lets guests indulge in simple caramelized cauliflower or shishito peppers before tossing a seven ounce burger or cast iron salmon their way.
Mohawk Bend’s dineL.A. deal is likely the best bet for any and all vegans. The cheap $25 three-course dinner options each contain a vegan possibility, like eggplant parmesan or a roasted summer vegetable pizza.
Mr Chow - Malibu
Upscale Chinese food is alive and well in Malibu with Mr. Chow’s $45 dineL.A. dinner. Better still, it’s served communal style, meaning guests can choose their way around each of the three courses, from glazed prawns to beef with shepherd’s purse, to really experience the full menu.
Refined California casual restaurant Muddy Leek opts for the rare reduced-price $20 three course lunch, which includes choices like house made merguez sausage, a Southern fried egg okra hash and a dessert choice between panna cotta with coconut streusel or their surprisingly gluten-free beignets.
On pure value alone, it’s hard to argue with Petrossian’s dineL.A. menu. Beware the pricey wine pairings, though.

The Fairfax location of chef Uchimura’s burgeoning gastropub empire is wading into the dineL.A. waters with a few one-off menu options, available only at lunch for $25. Grab the Frito Pie Mac & Cheese to start, one of the restaurant’s signature burgers as a main and either their addictive crullers or the off-menu soda floats to end the afternoon.
Venice’s Salt Air dips into the dineL.A. game with a $25 three-course lunch that includes either fish & chips, a roasted chicken sandwich or the veggie burger, plus the always popular monkey bread as a finisher.
Besides the beachside dining location, Terrazza’s $25 lunch includes options ranging from beef carpaccio or steamed mussels to start, followed by a bucatini pomodoro, clam linguine, a grilled Mediterranean branzino or, for $10 more, a grilled rib-cap steak.

Not exactly an approachable restaurant by more normal standards, The Bazaar’s dineL.A. offerings are expansive, familiar and cheap by comparison. The $45 dinner gives nearly 25 options across first bites, mains and dessert. A $20 wine flight (or, better still, $35 sommelier tasting flight) further drives home the value.
Tipple & Brine
San Fernando Valley newbie Tipple & Brine’s $35 dinner deal is one of the best for the area, with options like fried octopus with eggplant and shishito peppers to start, market fish with duck fat potatoes as a main and simple chocolate cremeaux with a pretzel streusel to finish.
