A Guide to Election Night Specials in Los Angeles

Chef Govind Armstrong hosts a special three-course prix-fixe dinner for $26, along with 50% off bottles of wine (normal for Tuesdays). Dishes include late harvest corn griddle cake with smoked salmon, carved slow roasted brisket with buttermillk mashed potatoes, and peach cobbler, their signature dessert. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m.
On Election Day only, get a Patriot Pack ($24) filled with a dozen mini cupcakes including classic vanilla and chocolate, topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles. Perfect for an election night viewing party.
Show an "I Voted" sticker and get a free 1/2 and 1/2 side of half fries and half onion rings at this South Beverly casual burger spot. Hand-cut fries, housemade onions rings, plus ranch or barcecue sauce made from scratch. Valid with any purchase, the special is also valid at the West Hollywood location.

The Abbey Food & Bar
From 4 p.m. to until a winner is announced, there will be food & drinks specials at this West Hollywood den. $1.50 tacos, $4 Corzo shots, $15 bucks of Corona. Sure to be a raucous scene on Election Night.
There's an all-night happy hour at the bar starting at 3 p.m. plus full election coverage on 16 TVs. Celebrate or drown the loss with $7 specialty cocktails, $5 glasses of wine, $4 select beers, $6 bar bites, and $2 oysters. Regardless of who wins, there's always the ocean view that both political sides can appreciate.

Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza
The lobby and bar at this Bunker Hill hotel in Downtown will have special politically-themed cocktails such as the Swing State (non partisan Cosmo), Mudslinging Mudslide (vodka, bailey's, kahlua), Thin Margin (the mandatory skinny cocktail), etc. Prices range from $7-12.
Here's a great election night special at Sunset Strip's Vintage Enoteca - endless sangria. When the wine doesn't stop flowing, there will be a point when it doesn't quite matter who wins the election. Until the next morning, of course.
Bugatta Bar & Restaurant
If you're into more of a scene, look for special 2 for 1 cocktails of the Patriotic kind at this Melrose bar and restaurant. There's also coverage of the election on the TVs.
The Westwood location is presenting Black Market Brewery from 5-10 p.m. on Election Night with $2 pours of special brews. New pizzas and items such as Roast Pumpkin, Brussels Sprouts & Bacon will be available as pairings.
