This week, Curbed LA takes a look at hotels around town as part of Hotels Week. To chip in, Eater examines some of the best restaurants inside hotels and highlights the food coming out of their kitchens.
Most of the time, eateries in hotels are meant to only serve guests that don't have a chance to wander outside of the neighborhood. But in L.A., restaurants need to serve more than eggs Benedict in the morning to be relevant. Hotel chefs have the opportunity to highlight the unique cooking that's endemic to L.A., with farm fresh produce and polished techniques. In addition, with The Ace opening in Downtown and The Line heating up Koreatown, there are two new standout restaurants that would do well in any part of the city, not just in the hotel. Herein, Eater presents some of the best hotel restaurants in Los Angeles.
Added 3/2014: LA Chapter at Ace Hotel, POT at The Line Hotel, Cast & Plow at Ritz Carlton MDR, RH at Andaz, The Royce at The Langham, The Belvedere at the Peninsula Beverly Hills, and Warren's Blackboard at The Beverly Garland
