2008_10_hasmaps.jpgMost of the time, eateries in hotels are meant to only serve guests that don't have a chance to wander outside of the neighborhood. But in L.A., restaurants need to serve more than eggs Benedict in the morning to be relevant. Hotel chefs have the opportunity to highlight the unique cooking that's endemic to L.A., with farm fresh produce and polished techniques. In addition, with The Ace opening in Downtown and The Line heating up Koreatown, there are two new standout restaurants that would do well in any part of the city, not just in the hotel. Herein, Eater presents some of the best hotel restaurants in Los Angeles.
