Easter in LA: Chocolate Bunnies, Lamb, Pork & More

View as Map

2008_10_hasmaps.jpgEaster in Los Angeles can be anticlimactic. Except for marking the end of Lent (props to those with the willpower to forsake alcohol, chocolate, dessert or some other delicious sacrifice), the mild weather makes eating lamb loin and pork butt less exciting. Angelenos have been eating them all winter long. Still, it's tradition, and so we present Eater's picks for Easter 2012, which this year falls on Sunday, April 8. Celebrating at home? Or at your great aunt's mansion in Bel Air? Consider picking up treats from Valerie Confections, Bottega Louie, Compartes or Lindy & Grundy (who doesn't love freshly slaughtered lamb?). Also worth a taste: Marcel Vigneron and Haru Kishi's The Coop Pop-Up.
