Where to Watch the Pacquiao-Mayweather Fight This Saturday in LA

Surprisingly, not too many sports bars in L.A. are carrying the fight.

In case you haven't heard, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will be squaring off this Saturday in one of the most hyped boxing matches in history. Pay-per-view buys look to cost about $100, so if you don't mind crowds and you're only watching with a couple of friends, you're probably better off heading to one of these bars. It's important to note that many of these places will be reserving seating ahead of time, so call ahead.

For a foodie-friendly way to take in the fight, Sidebar at the Beverly Wilshire might be a good bet — a $40 cover gets all-you-can-eat bar bites (menu items not included) and a signature cocktail. Chefs Ari Rosenson and Ken Concepcion are planning a number of specialty menu items including the cleverly named "Knuckle Sandwich," a crispy pig trotter number that's been topped with pickled red onion and whole grain mustard aioli in a housemade honey bun.

Tom's Urban

This small chain of sports bars puts out a surprisingly good truffled lobster roll. It will also be carrying the fight, though reservations are recommended.

The Holloway

This Echo Park diner-and-sports-bar will be showing the match and undoubtedly be dishing out some of the best egg-topped burgers in L.A. Don't skip the mac and cheese, either.

A fantastic variety of surprisingly good burgers (yay!) and way too many Giants fans (boo!) make S.F. Saloon a great place to catch the fight if you're from the Bay Area, or if you like burgers in general. $30 cover, first come, first served basis (No reservations).

Barney's Beanery

Every Barney's Beanery in Los Angeles except the Santa Monica location will be carrying the fight. They're implementing a limited premium reservation system in addition to regular covers, so plan to get there early.
