SGV’s massive breadth of Asian restaurants has always been takeout ready — and many of these immigrant businesses need help from the community as much as anywhere else.

The area has been especially hardly hit, with many of the SGV’s East-Asian residents slowing down their patronage of restaurants well ahead of shelter-at-home orders. With news of COVID-19 impacting restaurant sales as early as mid-February, many of the SGV’s most popular places saw empty tables and significant slowdowns.

But as Eater’s Kristie Hang reported, SGV restaurant owners have been quick to adapt — and they’ll continue to need support from their loyal followers. Luckily, supporting also means enjoying some of the city’s most delicious food. (Hang, to her immense credit, has been updating her Instagram profile tabs with updates on which restaurants in the SGV are open for business).

But Eater readers are here for the food, so here’s where to get some of the best. Don’t forget to close the apps and pick up the phone and call direct (if not for better prices, then for simply the fact that they better help these restaurants stay afloat).
