Where to Eat Thanksgiving Dinner in Los Angeles, 2021 Edition

Let the professionals do the cooking this Thanksgiving holiday

With the busy holiday season approaching, it’s time to think about Thanksgiving, a gathering that many people missed last year due to quarantine. This year, with vaccines mandated for on-site indoor dining in the city of Los Angeles (and West Hollywood) starting this month, it’s possible to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner prepared by talented cooks and chefs across LA, which occupies the traditional homelands of the Tongva and Chumash tribes.

Preparing a whole meal at home can be a stressful affair. Sometimes it’s just easier to let the professionals do the tough work and handle the dishes afterwards. There’s plenty of choices for getting turkey dinners to go, but this guide is for people who want to eat Thanksgiving at a restaurant table. Be sure to check the list and book the table because these coveted seats fill up quickly.

Health experts consider dining out to be a high-risk activity for the unvaccinated; the latest data about the delta variant indicates that it may pose a low-to-moderate risk for the vaccinated, especially in areas with substantial transmission. The latest CDC guidance is here; find a COVID-19 vaccination site here.
