With such an ugly presidential race we are all going to need a drink (or five) on Election Night when this whole stressful ordeal finally comes to an end. Fortunately plenty of L.A. restaurants and bars will be broadcasting the election coverage live as well as featuring all-night happy hour specials, specialty cocktails, and even bar games to help take the edge off. And since many of them are places you can eat, you can always munch on some comfort food to quell your fears, or console your sorrows.

And in some cases those who proudly wear their "I Voted" sticker will be rewarded with freebies and discounts. But no matter who you're rooting for, don't watch this election alone. Because regardless of what happens, it's the American way to eat and drink together for the sake of democracy. Here now, the best places to eat and drink during Election Night in Los Angeles.
